Justin nodded and the left the In N Out Burger. He sat down in his car at the drivers seat. He didn't start the car just yet. He called Emma and as he expected, it went to voicemail because she was busy. "Hey Emma." He started. "I just wanted to apologize for how I acted today... I know you don't have feelings for me and I should just accept it but i-it's a difficult thing for me to wrap my head around... You can call it denial, you can call it disbelief, call it whatever you want, it was no excuse to act like that and I'm- I'm sorry... I understand if you never want to talk to me again. But I hope we can look past that and just be friends. I mean this as a friend: Love you. Bye." He hung up the phone.
