"One second!" Halo called out, juggling plates and DVDs. He set them down in their respective boxes before going to open the door, cursing as he slapped the wood into his big toe.

Halo muffled the swearing as he noticed who was standing outside his door, forgetting for a minute that he was holding his toe and falling over with a thud, the cause of another profanity.

Allie turned as she just turned on her hearing aid. "Justin! Hi!"

Leo smiled politely. "I'm Officer Leo Reid. My brother called you earlier and I just wanted to make sure you were alright."
