Halo sighed. "Lena, I did the GCSEs and A Levels I wanted to do, not tthe ones that would get me anywhere. I knew I wanted to be a soldier and help people, save people, from the moment I knew I could feel no pain and even take it away. Sciences... they were never my strong point. I don't have the qualifiications. I'm clever, but not that clever."

Emily smiled slightly and ran over to Emma, hugging her tightly as she started to cry again.

Liam pulled away after a bit and slipped the ring on her finger.

Lena pursed her lips for a bit and looked away. "But what if you die?" Lena choked out.

Lena didn't cry much but when she turned to look at Halo, she had tears in her eyes. "You got out, Halo. Why go back in?"
