Tom woke up to his alarm at half past two, and gently extricated himself from Ben's hold.

Ben smiled softly at Tom. "I'll get Jo up." he said and went to their daughter's room. He disappeared inside and came out a couple minutes, carrying a sleeping Jo in his arms.
