Zofia smoothed her hair back and stretched.

Pietro took a deep breath as he slipped into his old ballet pumps, barely salvaged as they escaped from Russia. Costumes could be replaced; these pumps were harder too. Thankfully, Lidija's had survive too.

Zofia toyed with the gold necklace that hung on her neck. She was nervous, like always. She made sure her slippers where on right and then stretched more.

Pietro finished tying te fastenings and stepped over to the barre to warm up.

Zofia looked up to see a young man but then took a deep breath and went back to stretching.

Pietro did some slow stretches as he waited for his sister, then decided to do some slow somersaults, leaning forward into a handstand and then bringing his feet down silently, standing vertiically before goin into the handstand again and repeating.

Zofia bent over backwards, placing her hands on the ground, stretching out her back.

Pietro continued his exercises, standing up and peforming some simple maneuvres.

Zofia straightened herself before walking over to a different bar from the man's and beginning her warm up.

If he had been asked by anyone save his sister, Pietro would have denied nerves. However, he had never really had to audition before because all they had danced was Bolshoi ballet where everyone knew the talents of everyone else. So yes, he was nervous.

Zofia decided to talk, to get her mind off of her nerves. "How long have you been doing this?" she asked, her accent thick.

Despite the lessons with a SHIELD translator, Pietro still had trouble with English. He struggled to translate the sentencee, taking an age to formulate an answer. "Fifteen years?" he tried, his accent also extremely thick.

She could see his struggle with English. "Czy mówisz po polsku?"

Pietro took a moment to work through the sentence, it had been so long since he had used Polish. e replid with more confidence than English, though. "Jestem Rosjaninem. Polski nie jest niepodobne, ale również nie identyczne. Mówię trochę." He remembered the costume woman who used to talk to them in Polish as she sewed and they watched on evenings gathered around a fire.

"Vy nakhodites' v udache. YA provel nekotoroye vremya v Rossii i byl udivitel'nyy uchitel'." Zofia said as she went through her exercises.

Pietro smiled in relief. "Teper' ya mogu ponyat' vas," he chuckled.

Zofia chuckled as well. "Da, teper' ya mogu sprosit' vas o vashem opyte s etogo iskusstva." she said softly.

"Bol'shoy teatr vzyalo nas, moya sestra i ya, s ulitsy. My byli desyat', to, dvadtsat' pyat' nyne. Oni nashli my byl talant, i, nu, godu my stali priz v Bol'shom teatre. The Maksimoff Bliznetsy; vy slyshali o nas?"

Lidija walked in and immediately made her way over to Pietro.

"Privyet, zaychik," Pietro smiled slightly and kissed her cheek.

"Privyet Tigr," Lidija leaned up slightly and returned the kiss.

"Vashi tantseval'nyye tufli v poryadke?" he murmured quietly.

"Oni dolzhny byt' khorosho dlya pary dney bol'she," Lidija nodded.
