Hannah's mom takes a deep breath, and shakes her head, "They said it would take a miracle, and even if she does, she wont remember a thing about her past, and wont be able to do anything for herself. She will be permanently crippled. "

Hannah's mother sighs, "The doctors think that it will be the most humane thing we can do for her. She wont have any memories of her past, and may not even remember much about her present. But she is always going to remember what happened to her."

Hannah's mother sits there stroking her daughter's hair, "I'm going to give her more time. After that... Well, hopefully the gods will see to it that her decision is her's. Knowing Hannah, she would be able to handle the physical pain, but not remembering any of her past... she always told me that would be a fate worst than death for her."

Hannah's mother nods, "This isn't just hard on you Zak dear. You don't think that I want my daughter back? Or that its hard for me to think that I will out live her? But either way, we should be ready for the possibility. Ultimately, none of this is up to me, or you or even the doctors."
