The next day was the day of the trial, part 2. Killian gets up and heads to the courthouse.

Cinder sits at her workbench the next day as she works on a computer for a client.

Killian is there with his evidence as Cassie is called back up to the stand. The defense speaks first, "Miss Richardson, before we were interrupted last time you were talking about this Camp Half-Blood." The prosecution speaks up, "Objection your Honor. This information has nothing to do with the current case at hand." It was over ruled. It is then turned onto Cassie, "Well as I was saying last time. This was a camp for very gifted children. And not what you might be thinking. I was fortunate enough to have acquired some of the security footage from said Camp." She says as she pulls out a tape, and requests to have it played. Killian sits there in both anger and shock as the tape plays footage of their younger days at Camp, and some after they had left. It showed them using their powers, and to ager him even more Cassie had zoomed in on him and his conversations, as some of the jury members sit there in disbelief, including the Judge, while the others are fooled by the Mist.

Cinder looks up and gives a small smile, "Hey."

Sierra held his hand and her hair took on. Slight red tint as anger coursed through her

Connor looked down at her "about what you said yesterday. Your treated like a servant?"

Cinder shakes her head, "Its just my Stepmoth...my guardian, Adri. She just houses me. In another few years I'll be in Paris."

Cassie smiles and the defense then calls Killian to the stand.

"And until then?" Connor asked
Sierra glared at Cassie. She would be Killian out of this if she got called to the stand

Cinder shakes her head, "Until then, I'm sort of stuck here. At least I have my work shop though which allows me an excuse to be away from the house."

Killian walks up there and the Defense speaks, "Mr. Jones? Is that you in that footage?" Killian sighs, but says yes. "Then would you mind explaining to the court why you had denied any knowledge of this place in the previous trial?" Killian frowns, "I was protecting those whom I thought I could trust. Apparently I was wrong about some." He says glaring at the still smiling Cassie. "Then, I suppose you are saying that there more of your kind right here in the States."

Sierra bit her lip as she watched. She wanted to run to Killian. To fight his battle for him.

Cinder gives a small smile, "That's really nice of you, but I wouldn't want to impose."

Killian shakes his head then points to Cassie, "There were. But she killed the only other few."
"Then would you mind explaining why your wife was also part of this?"
"She was a lure to get me there."

Sierra looked at him biting her lip. She wanted to be in his arms. She was itching the urge to stand up and use charm speak on everyone

Connor smiled "I insist. I could use the company"

The defense gives a small smile, "Then you wouldn't mind explaining to court why you kept this hidden for so long and didn't add it to your report?" Killian says nothing. Once he is allowed back to his seat, the Judge has the court make their decision. Cassie is pronounced as guilty and the Judge then speaks, "Miss Richardson will be in prison for 1 year. Mr. Jones will held for 2 days with a $20,000 for both withholding evidence and lying to the court. Dismissed." Killian struggles a bit, but doesn't put up much of a fight knowing full well that it would just make it worse.

Cinder thinks for a moment, "Well where do you live around?"

Sierra rushed over to Killina and hid in his arms, "What do you need em to do?"

Connor smiled, "A couple blocks up."

Killian is allowed to hug her back, "Have her keep digging, and warn everyone we know about what's happened. Cassie cant win this, and she will most definitely try. Even from behind bars." He says and he kisses her, "I love you." He says as he is pulled away to the bus that would take him and Cassie to prison.

Cinder thinks a moment, "But what about my things? I don't have much, but if I tell Adri I'm leaving, she'll throw everything out."

Sierra had tears in her eyes as she nods. She pulls out her phone and did as he was told as he walked. She then went to her fathers and explained that Killian was in jail and he agreed to bail him out

"Relax. I got ties with cops. Ill handle it." Connor said cupping her cheek "Itll be ok."

Cinder sighs, "I need some time to think about it."

Killian gets to the jail house and is told that someone paid his bail. Surprised he walks to the main gates.
