Backstory: Lost his mother and stepfather at a young age when he developed his power, exploding the plane they were in. He and his younger brother survived, but were split up in the orphanage; he rebelled and spent most of his youth in juvie, then when he got out joined the army. Received a dishonourable discharge for blowing up friendlies by losing control of his powers, and was stuck in solitary until he was sprung by a fellow demigod. He now takes on odd jobs, mainly hard labour or mechanical, to pay his way.
