Cinder nods, "Alright well Ill be waiting out front with a nurse."

Killian shrugs, "He doesn't like my methods, or maybe that Im not very good when it comes to paperwork. You name it."

Jax hung up and went to the garage. He got in the car and drove to the hospital. He pulled up beside Cinder and smiled "Hey."
"Youre ok at paperwork." She lied and not very well trying to cheer him up "And while your methods are.... unethical. They get the job done."

Cinder gives a small smile as the nurses help her to the car, "Hey thanks for getting me."
Killian gives a small sigh and gives her a kiss, "Thanks for lying to me but at the rate Im going, Im going to be demoted to a common cop. I just wanted to make up for how shitty of kid I was."

Jax helped her into the car “how are you feeling?”

Cinder shrugs, "Tired but otherwise ok."

Jax nodded and drove them to his apartment

Killian shakes his head, "No that would just make him think I need some to fight my battles for me. I don't want to give him that satisfaction."

Cinder starts to doze as they drive to the apartment.

When they arrived Jax reached uut and brushed Cinders hair out of her face

“Why is that, hon?” Jax asked as he opened the door and stepped inside. He closed the door behind him and lied her on the couch

Cinder sighs, "I just can't believe I was so stupid as to let my guard down. They got hold of me so easily. I'm a mechanic I'm supposed to be ready for anything."
Killian then proceeds to take his shirt off.

Cinder was so hurt. No so much her physical injuries, it was more her pride and confidence, that was hurting.
