Jo hesitated a bit, causing Ben to walk over. "Ready, Joanna?" She blinked away tears and hugged Owen tightly one last time.

(This is actually making me tear up)

Owen prised her from his arms. "She's ready, sir." He handed Jo her suitcase.

Jo swallowed tears and took her bag.

Ben smiled. "Thank you..." he said, waiting for a name.

"Thank you, Owen." Ben said. He turned his attention to Tom and Jo took this to shove her locket into Owen's hand. Ben then turned back. "Shall we go?"

Owen looked, confused, at Jo. Tom nodded, opening the door for the two.

"Goodbye Owen. Don't forget me." Jo said, looking at locket meaningfully before she followed Ben and Tom outside.

Owen looked at the locket, cautiously opening it.

The picture of Owen and Jo and been cut down to just their smiling faces and was put in the locket.

Owen bit his lip, scrubbing the heel of his hand against his eyes to stop the tears spilling over as he looked at the picture.

Ben helped Jo put her suitcase in the back and she looked at the orphanage. Ben smiled softly. "You can stay if you want." he said. Jo looked at him and then at Tom.

"We're not forcing you to come with us." Tom stated.

Owen turned away. He knew that if he went to the window, Jo might stay, and he didn't want that for her.

Jo looked at the window. She waited a little. "No. I'm ready."

Ben smiled and opened the door for her. She climbed in and he got into the driver's seat.

"We have our daughter." Ben said quietly. Jo was too distracted by her own thoughts to listen to what her new parents were saying.
