Ben deepened the kiss. It was hard for him to atop, not that he wanted to, but he felt like the alcohol was turning into adrenaline and it was coursing through his veins.

Tom began to see stars, but quickly realised it was because of lack of oxygen and reluctantly drew back, gasping for breath, burying his face in Ben's neck.

Ben gasped for breath as well. "Come." he said in a husky voice, taking Tom's handand walking backwards towards the bed, keeping his gaze locked with Tom.

Tom followed obediently, pulling at his tie. Suddenly it had transformed from a comforting presence to an unnecessary restriction.

Ben pulled off his own tie and tugged Tomcloser to him. Once the man was close enough, Ben expertly undid the buttons of his friend's shirt and suit jacket.

Tom hurried to reciprocate, barely flinching as he accidentally yanked a button off Ben's shirt.

Ben pulled Tom close again, attaching his lips to the other man's neck.

Tom's head fell back and a noise midway between a moan and a whine emerged from his throat, his hands gripping Ben's shoulders tightly.

Ben ran his hand up to Tom's hair, tangling his fingers in it.

Tom used his strength to push Ben backwards and shove him onto the bed.

Ben opened his eyes, feeling like he had been having a dream. He sat up and looked to his right and when he saw Tom's sleeping form, fear and happiness consumed him.

Tom slept peacefully, if slightly restlessly, fidgeting gradually more as his sweet dreams turned sour and his recurring nightmare roared through.

Ben got up quietly, noticing Tom's fidgeting but just assumed he was about to wake up. Ben grabbed his robe and pressed a button on his nightstand, summoning Murphy.

As the nightmare pulled him deeper into its clutches, Tom's movements grew more frantic. If he had been at home, Artemis and Apollo (who always slept in his room) would have woken him up, but alas, they were not there.

Ben looked at Tom and made his way around the bed and started to shake him. "Tom! Tom!"

Tom bolted awake, clutching at Ben as he so often clutched at one of the twins. He turned away as he realised what he'd done, where he was, and the fact that he was naked, hiding his face in the pillow.

Ben peeled Tom off of his pillow and held him against his chest. He didn't say anything, instead just held Tom firmly, letting him know that he was here.

"Tom, relax." Ben said in a firm tone but his voice was quiet.
