Halo was about to reply when Liam walked off. Knowing him, he'd be busy all evening, so he downed his drink, slapped sown some money, and left, catching a cab back to his temporary apartment block.

Halo shrugged and walked into his bedroom, changing into his pyjamas before climbing into bed and setting his phone, smart alarm activated, on the mattress next to him.
