Liss tossed him the shovel in answer, also finding a couple of celestial bronze katanas and sliding them into a sheath that she put on her back, and two hip holsters that had guns in as well. "You good?"

They progressed further and further into the forest, then Liss suddenly frozee and held up a hand, then pointed into a clearing at a huge hydra.

Liss gave him a thumbs up, then carefully unscrewed the Greek fire and lit a torch. "When you're done, come help. You'll be cauterising."

Liss spun into action as the hydra saw her, slicing off one head and, while ducking another, burnt the stump. She hacked at another but had to dodge backwards and couldn't burn it in time. "Damn!" she wore. Back to the start.

At the sound of Liss cursing Orlando hurriedly finished digging. He pulled out the dagger from his belt and grimaced "I can't believe I am doing this." He advanced towards the hydra.
