Liss rolled her eyes, massaging her abdomen softly. She could take care of herself very well, thank you, Gray.

"Hurt her? The last thing I'd ever want to do is hurt her. She's the only important woman in my life." Gray said, slightly offended. "She's carrying our child, and it's scaring her. All I wanted to know was if she was handling it okay. I don't want her to feel like she's going at it alone."

"Oh great that's fine," Orlando said relaxing and taking a bite of toast. "Oh wait that was yours um..." He looked down at the slice of toast in his hand.

"We met at Camp here in New Zealand, she basically lived there her whole life. I'm five years older, so I left for uni, came back, left for my masters, and convinced her to go to uni in my final year doing that. I came out here and created this bookshop. She dropped off the radar after about a year and a half, didn't hear from her for ages, but we reconnected and she's basically dropped in whenever she wants, or needs my help. We got a good thing going." Orlando hummed, munching on his toast. "How did you meet?"
