Clint tipped some nectar into Margo's mouth, stroking her throat with a gloved thumb to make her swallow before looking at the medic. "Plan of action?"

"We definitely need to get her back to the base and into the medical room." he said. "If we don't, she'll bleed out."

"Chopper's thirty seconds out," Phil supplied.

The medic nodded. "I'm going to need a stretcher!"

We got one on board, crackled through from the chopper as it descended into a clear spot.

The medic looked up as a couple more medics came running over. They slipped her onto a board and lifted her onto the stretcher, strapping her down. "Let's go!" The medic yelled and the got her on the chopper.

The two agents stood up as it lifted off, both turning to look at the monster.

Margo was taken back to the helicarrier and into the medical room.

Phil took his padd and comm to medical, waiting outside as he stayed in contact with the other agents.

Romanoff lugged O'Malley to another copter as two other agents brought the sniper in, worse for wear after his tussle with Clint, who was inspecting the monster.

Hours went by before the medic came out of the room and saw Phil. "We managed to stop the bleeding, but he had to do some surgery. She's resting now." he said.

Phil nodded his thanks and opened the door, resuming an all-too-familiar position in tge bedside chair.

Margo lay in the bed, wires attached to her and a heart rate monitor beeping steadily.

The door opened again as Clint and Natasha, patched up, came in.

A few hours later, Margo's eyes slowly opened and she blinked a few times, taking in the small group.

Margo stared at him for a moment. "Did we get O'Malley?"

"We did," Natasha confirmed.

"And I got the sniper," Clint added, gesturing to the now-clean cuts and bruises marring most of his face. They were turning a dark purple, but he'd iced them earlier so the swelling wasn't so bad.

Barton sniggered, not stopping when Phil shot him a glar until Natasha kicked him. "Thank you for your input," Phil said dryly.
