"I wouldn't doubt that he does. A bomb is what caused this, his paralysis and his scars." the doctor confirmed.

Lena reached for Halo's hand for support.

"I doubt he'll ever walk again." the second doctor said.

"Let's use all three. Put the balaclava on his face, stick him in the body bag and put him on the stretcher. Safety precautions." Lena said.

"We'll look like robbers." Lena said. She walked over to the doctors and took one of their jackets. "Meet us out front and you'll get these back." She tossed the jacket to Halo and grabbed the other's jacket.

After they had gotten Liam set up, Lena opened the door and looked around before turning and nodding to Halo to push Liam out.

Lena made space through the crowd and grinned as the got out of the front door. She quickly opened the body bag and tried to lift Liam out of it. "Call a cab." she said to Halo.
