The guy drew up a chair and sat next to Liam.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"Sebastian Stan, but that doesn't really matter. I just passed Halo's trailer and met Elli in the hallway. Both of those things told me all I needed to know." He took a breath. "You're the guy Halo never stops talking about, and though he's never admitted it, we're not stupid. Even the people who don't spend much time with him hear him every now and then. He gets this look in his eyes when he talks about you, and you should have seen him when he told us you were coming to work here too. You mean the world to him, not meaning to sound crappy and clichéd or anything, but it's true. That guy would do anything for you, and we can all see he's holding the truth in. He's struggling to get past that impenetrable shield you insist on having up all the time, and he's trying to see if you bloody love him back." Sebastian finished his mini speech and huffed. "Please go and kiss some sense into him. For everyone's sakes."

Liam stared at the guy for a bit. "Do you see this?" Liam asked, pointing at his face. "This is going to be like this until I die. I can't walk, I can't take care of myself. Why would he love me?"

"My god, you oblivious idiot." Sebastian sighed. "He doesn't care about this," hewaved at Liam's body. "It's only a bonus if you're pretty. No.What he cares about is in tthere."He prodded Liam's chest just above his heart.

"So now what? Am I supposed to roll out there, crawl into his trailer and declare my love for him? This isn't a movie." Liam said bitterly.

Liam hesitated before he started making his way to Halo's trailer.

Liam yanked the door open and pulled himself out of the wheelchair and into the trailer. "Ha-" he cut himself off when he saw the mess.

Halo was shuddering slightly with silent sobs.

"Halo..." Liam said and dragged himself toward him. He maneuvered his body so he was sitting beside Halo and hugged him.

Halo's hands were torn and bloody, shaking with his sobs.

If anything, that seemed to make Halo worse, the sobs turning into sobbed apologies and expletives.
