Soon enough, Tom emerged in his dressing gown, carrying David, having knocked on Joanna's door.

Ben smiled at his fiance and son and then at his daughter when she came in. "Good morning..." he trailed off. "What did you call them Jonathan?"

Joanna went and sat down, practically curling up on the chair.

Ben grinned and looked at Tom. "Where's Echo?" he asked.

David wiggled a bit, wanting out of his father's arms.

"Okay. I'll go check on her after breakfast." Ben said and leaned over, kissing Tom's cheek.

David sleepily went and sat next to his brother.

David sleepily leaned against Jonathan.

Ben grinned and glanced at Jo, who was curled into a ball on the chair. Ben went to the kitchen and came back with chocolate syrup.

Jo offered a small smile of thanks as the chocolate syrup was set beside her.
