The therapist nods, "It sounds to me like its PTS. For now, I want you to try to change these flashbacks. Since these are just happing at night for now I want you to try something. Have you ever heard of lucid dreaming?"

"I want you to practice this by finding a loop in these memories. Maybe getting yourself, to come to terms with what happened, or picturing someone come in for the rescue before the events took place. It'll take some time but I'll set up time for you to come back in just to check how things are going, and if they get any worse, don't hesitate to call so I can have come in right away."
