Mikaela nods and sips her water, looking back down at the menu.

"I'm concerned for our child. I want her to live a normal life but if she ends up with even one of our powers, everything changes. Given everything that's going on, I don't need her to be a target too." Justin said. He was trying not to tell her what Bridgett said.

The waiter comes in and asks if they had decided on what the wanted to eat.

Dawn sighs, "Look I know that this is scary, but most likely her powers wont even be that noticeable. If she does have them we can always try to have them pass off as coincidences. "

"Yeah." Mikaela said. "I'll just get the sirloin steak." She smiled.

Bridgett thinks a moment "Ill just have the stuffed grape leaves with the pasta salad side."

Dawn sighs, "Come here." she says beckoning him to the chair she was sitting in.

Justin sat down in her lap on the chair.

Mikaela smiled at the waiter as he left. She didn't know what else to say to Bridgett.

Bridgett sighs, "Look I cant tell you, its Prophecy stuff. But just know that I have my reasons for doing things. Ok?"

Dawn smiles at him, "I love that you are concerned for our daughter, but I can assure you that she wont have the same fate as Hannah."

Mikaela nodded. "Can we at least try and enjoy our dinner? This was supposed to help take our minds off of things."

Justin nodded and placed his hands in Dawn's. He was calmer now. "I love you."

"I've been trying to find auditions but no one will take me." Mikaela continued.

Bridgett nods, "I get it. It took me months to find my first gig to play at, and almost a year until I found one that would pay me as opposed to just offering me a meal."

Dawn smiles, "I was thinking that we could have it back in Vermont."

"Vermont or New York?" Justin asked.

"I'm nearly 21 and I don't have a lot on my resume. With every year it gets harder and harder to find a role that wants me because I'm behind everyone else." Mikaela said.

Dawn gives him a slight guilty look, "I was hoping Vermont. When My dad died he left our old cabin to me. I wondered if we could have the wedding or at least the reception there. That way I could at least pretend he is walking me down the aisle."

Bridgett nods, "Have you applied for other jobs yet?"

Justin nodded. "No, we can definitely do it in Vermont. I thought you wanted to do where we met but if you want Vermont because of your dad, then that's fine." He said, now feeling guilty himself.

"I've started to but I'm also still searching for some roles." She said.

"I don't have any reason to go back to New York. The camp is gone. My mom is dead. It can be sentimental but there's a lot of remembering heartbreaking things there too." Justin said.

"I was at the mess hall. I didn't recognize anyone there so I asked her and Zak if I could join them. Only thing I remember from that interaction was that we were lowkey flirting with each other." Justin chuckled. "I still hear Zak's voice in my head telling me to stay away from 'his girl' like she was some item to him that he didn't want to share." He sighed and realiZed he was actually getting angry from something years ago. He took a deep breath to calm himself down.

"I don't remember. It must've felt right for her. And I don't blame her. To me, I was a player. I had a reputation that she didn't like and that's probably something that help lead to her choosing Zak. We worked better as friends, as we found out, and that was that." Justin said. He then shrugged.

"I'm not sure. maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I never really asked why and after a while, it didn't bother me. Me and her were great friends and she helped me see the world a different way, something I desperately needed at the time. I don't know if she ever understood how much she meant to me until it was time for her to leave."
