"Well he was scared you were going to hurt yourself." Tom looked at David. "But you've learned your lesson, haven't you? Listen to Daddy."

"Come on." Tom kissed David's forehead and took his hand. "Let's go apologise."

David finished brushing his teeth and then waited.

Tom tugged him gently into the bedroom and propelled him towards Ben.

David looked up at Ben. "Sorry for not listening Daddy." David said quietly. Ben knelt down and hugged him. "Thank you for apologizing." Ben said softly. David hugged Ben and then the man lifted the child into his bed and tucked him in, kissing his forehead and whispering goodnight.

"Goodnight, boys." Tom smiled from the doorway, switching off the light and waiting for Ben.

Ben smiled and left the room, grabbing Tom's hand as he passed him. He pulled him away from the boys' room and tuned to him. "I love you." he said softly before pulling Tom into his embrace and kissing him.

Tom pulled the door to, not shutting it so Plato could get out if he wanted, before turning and kissing Ben back. "I love you too."

Tom reached the bedroom and stepped inside, already pulling off his clothes and changing into his pyjamas.

"Are we going to take the boys to the appointment I made for us tomorrow?" Tom grinned, having shot off the instructions to his PA as they walked. She had made the appointment.
