"They're wild animals who keep looking at me like they want to kill me. That's not being a wuss, that's valuing my life." Chris replied. He looked around briefly. "So, do you want to show me round?"

Tom rolled his eyes. "Of course. This way." He turned on his heel and started up the stairs again.

Chris picked up his suitcase and followed, carefully avoiding stepping on any panther paws.

Chris walked quickly up the stairs, silently admiring the modern sleekness of his surroundings.

Tom continued walking, the many steps not difficult or straining; he scaled them several times a day.

Chris was not used to stairs but as he spent most of his time playing sport, he managed them without getting too out of breath.

"Rhetorical question." Chris replied, even though he that Tom knew that. He looked up at the next flight of stairs and began to ascend them, looking round at everything with interest.

Tom just smirked and continued, opening every door and introducing the room before moving on.

Chris made a few quick comments on the various rooms, before moving swiftly on. "Did you ever get lost when you first moved in?" Chris questioned.

As if he had read his mind, Tom grinned, pivoting on his heel, holding out a small folded up piece of paper.

Chris took it and opened it up, grinning up at Tom. "Not leaving anything to chance, are you?" he laughed, gesturing to the very clear 'YOUR ROOM IS HERE' label.
