Jo pulled the covers over her head.

Ben, who had set the boys up on the couch in front of the tv for a movie, came upstairs to check on Tom and Jo.

Tom sat for a moment longer before standing up.

Ben pulled Tom aside by his hand. "Any idea what's going on with her?"

Tom sighed and shook his head. "I don't know. There's something she's not saying, but that's it."

"Maybe we should take her to the orphanage for a visit?" Ben suggested.
