Christine looked at the clock that hung on the wall. "Well, Monsieur Whittaker, the clock has struck twelve and my pumpkin carriage awaits." she joked. "Il était très agréable de parler avec vous, mon ami. Au revoir et bonne nuit." She held out a hand to him.

Christine smiled as she watched him drive off. She was then helped into her limousine and was driven back to her hotel room.
