Elissa was still driving, and turned down the music. "Yo!" She answered her phone with a grin, looking out of the window as she drove along the abandoned dirt road.

"I'm passing Picton on my way to a friend's. Can you get the ferry from Wellington to Picton?" Elissa asked.

"On it!" Colin said and hung up the phone. He caught a ride to the ferry on got on the next one to Picton.

Lissa pulled up to the dock and hung around. Colin's ferry would been arriving soon, it had been a couple of hours since they'd talked on the phone.
