Graham had had enough. He delivered a firm slap to Alex's face. "Wake up, Alex. That was the past. This is the present. You did what you did. It was a mistake. It's time to stop dwelling on it. I don't hate you, no one hates you. You were a kid, Alex, you couldn't make serious decisions. Even with your high IQ. You're feelings got the better of you. I'm not saying you need to forget it ever happened, because it did. But if you keep dwelling on it, you're going to end up lonely and depressed. Because I can't just sit here and let you ha ve a pity party. I need you. Elissa needs you. You are the glue that keeps our small family together." he said quietly.
