He frowned and then shook his head. "People always think they can out-drink me." he said. He waved his finger in the air and then in front her face. "They're wrong." he said.

"I do." Jordyn motioned to the large suitcase at her feet and the backpack sitting beside it. "Not much but enough for a few days."

"I'm fairly sure Orlando has a washing machine..." Liss chuckled. "Come on," she hefted the suitcase with ease, gesturing with a smile for Jordyn to follow. "I move around too much to have any benefit out of having a place of my own, so we'll be bunking at Orlando's," she explained on the way to the car. "He's my best friend, he'll be fine with it. Unless you were looking forward to sleeping in motels?"

"No no." Jordyn said. "If your motels are anything like the ones in other places around the world, namely, America and Brazil, I'll pass and gladly take the home of this Orlando. Lead the way."

Liss chuckled, popping the '67 Chevy Impala's trunk to sling the suitcase inside, then, after closing it, opened the passenger door for Jordyn.
