Elissa turned the music down. "Well, we're nearly at the port, then there's a couple of hours on the boat, then we've got a full day of driving ahead of us. You can sleep in the car or we can stay in a motel. Which would you prefer?"

Orlando kept studying his book but slowly nodded off snoring loudly.

Elissa glanced over at Orli and smiled. When they were fifteen minutes from the port, she grinned. She leaned over and stuck a plastic spoon in his mouth, took a picture, then turned on her music up to full volume with a chuckle, and began singing along loudly.

Orlando woke with a start and pulled the spoon from his mouth throwing it angrily at Elissa. He folded his arms and stared grumpily out of the window.
