Jo pulled out her desk chair and motioned for him to sit there while she went to sit on her bed, stroking Plato's head softly.

Jo got up off her bed and went over to Owen, sitting herself in his lap. "You're my brother. You were there for me for a long time. Long before my dads came along. You'll always be more important to me than them. As much as you make not like that, it's the truth." she said.
