Marcus sits at a coffee shop as he writes up his latest report for the other Historians, about Alexander the Great (ish). In his recent Ghost hunt he had found an artefact that Alexander's soul had latched onto and told him some different stories about his past than what most had believed.

Placing her bookmark in the latest page of her novel, Cordelia stood up to clock out for the day. Her shift was just about over, so there wasn't much left for her to do. Deciding on taking a few more books along with her--stuffing them in her bag--she finally left work for the day.

Actually. . . I'm kind of hungry, maybe I should pick up something.

Bag over her shoulder and an empty stomach, Coredelia set off to the nearest cafe.

Marcus turns in surprise, but nods, "Yeah. Maybe it was a bad idea to have my night job and day job so close to each other. I cant remember if this is what my day job boss wanted me working on or not, either way it still needs to get done."

Cordelia entered one of the various cafes, heading straight for the counter hoping to get herself an iced coffee. Coffee in general wasn't too good for her health, but she could afford to ignore that today.

After getting her order and paying, Cordelia sat down and pulled out her novel.

Marcus then hears his phone ring, "Oswald here." pause. "Jim, cant I finish my findings from the last haunting first, before you send me on another?" Pause. "Alright, alright. So what is this about?" Longer pause, "You mean the U.S ambassador? Yeah I had heard something like that, but Jim, the Historical Society needs what I have from the last case first." Another pause, "Fine. Let me finish my current paper then I'll see about checking out." He hen hangs up and goes back to his work.
