Marcus smiles at her, "Once Miss Mattie is availble please give her the message that I'm asking her a question."

A concentrated frown settled on Kol's face and he threw the ball again. Watching as the batter hit it and moved to first, and then second, Kol let out a shout of frustration.

Mattie shook her head and came out of her daze. "What, sorry?" she said.

Marcus chuckels, "I asked where you wanted to go next."

"I don't know. What is there to do in Chicago?" Mattie asked, looking up at him.

"There is Navy Peir. There's Cloud Gate. There's Grant Park, more museaums, the Lakefrount trail, Lincoln Park conservatory. You name it."

Mattie thought for a moment. "You choose." she said finally.

Marcus smiles, "Grant Park it is."

Mattie smiled. "Lead the way!"

Jeremy got the bll and threw it to home base before the runner got there so he was out
Melissa cheered for Jeremy

Kol adjusted his hat and held out a hand for the ball.

Someone threw kol the ball and Melissa watched

Kol took a moment, letting his eyes scan over the crowds and then he saw Melissa and froze.

Melissa locked eyes with him and smiled and waved at him

Kol stared at her for a moment before turning to the batter. Concentration settled on his face before he threw the ball again. Closing his eyes after the ball left his hand, he didn't open them again until he heard, "Strike one!"

Melissa smiled "Whoo! GO KOL!"

Marcus smiles and they start walking..

Kol let out a breath of relief and then set himself up before throwing the next pitch. He struck out that batter faster than lightening.

Mattie walked with Marcus.

Mattie curled her blonde hair behind her ear as she looked around.

Marcus smiled as they reached the park. "Here we are."

Melissa began to cheer louder

Mattie smiled and looked around more. "Wow.." she said.

The Cubs ended up winning and Kol let out a sigh of relief when the game was done.

Melissa smiled and quickly left her seat to wait by the locker room. She smiled and hugged Jeremy when she saw him "good job!"
