Liam rolled them over to Halo's bed and lifted Halo up onto the bed.

Halo wriggled out of his socks and jeans, leaving him in a t-shirt and underwear, and reached out for Liam.

Liam held out a hand to say he was fine and then hoisted himself up onto the bed, his biceps bulging as he did. He laid beside Halo, pulling off his shirt and shimmying out of his pants.

Liam was drifting off when he heard faint crying. He frowned.

Liam pressed a soft kiss to Halo's head and then got himself back in his chair before going to check on Sam, who was indeed crying. Liam rolled over and climbed into the bed with her, pulling her close and stroking her hair, singing a song that Lena used to sing to help the boys sleep in Iraq.

Halo continued to sleep, though a few tears wet the pillow as he dreamed.

When Sam had finally gone back to sleep, Liam made his way back to Halo's bed. He got back in and noticed the wet pillow. He pulled Halo's sleeping form close and kissed his forehead.

Halo slept fitfully, waking at one point from a nightmare, sitting up with Lena's name on his lips.

Liam woke up when Halo moved and sat up beside him, resting his hand on Halo's shoulder softly. "Halo.." he mumbled.
