"It sounded like you guys had a fight this morning." Sam said quietly, pulling back. "Liam fell asleep in his chair. I wanted to put him in your bed, but I can't lift him."

Sam nodded, curling her short hair behind her ears. "He's been like that for two hours. He woke up screaming earlier, and I tried to calm him down but I couldn't. He started crying and fell asleep again." she said.

Liam was slumped in his wheelchair, mumbling in his sleep.

Liam shifted slightly but stayed asleep.
