Mattie got to her room and grabbed the fax before leaving again. She made it to the location and slowly walked into the warehouse.

Seth nods to his men and they un bind him Marcus crumples to the floor like a rag doll. Too weak to stand or move.

Mattie slowly made her way over to Marcus and lifted him a little, holding him in her arms. "I'm probably not going to be alive for much longer. So just know... I fell for you really fast. I love you, Marcus Oswald. I know it's too soon, but it doesn't really matter at this point." she whispered and kissed his forehead.

Marcus groans with pain, "No, this.. this is all my fault. You... I ..."he then passes out before he could finish. Two of Seth's men pick him up and carry him off and Seth walks back in, "Don't worry dearie. He'll wake up in the hospital safe and sound."

Seth didn't even flinch. "It was an attitude like that that got Marcus to how he is now. Let's see how long you can last." He says and motions for his men to grab her.
Marcus wakes up in the hospital a few hours later. His first thought was Mattie, but his whole body was too weak to move.
