Tessa opened the door and smiled. She was in a black tank top that said "girl power" and a pair of shorts. She stepped back to let him in and smiled

Emilie sat on the couch with gabby in her arms

Emilie laughed "speaking of my agent called me this morning. They want me in LA for a movie. They want me to play the hero"

Lucas watched. He wasn't really paying much attention in between drinking his wine and stealing glances at Tessa.

"Oh my God, Emilie, that's awesome! What movie? How long is filming going to be?"

Tessa sipped her wine and watched the show making her own occasional commentary "either he didn't or he has a partner. Since another victim got killed while he was in custody"

Emilie bit her lip "it's a superhero movie. Is be playing Vortex. She s an alien princess from another planet and her power is wind control and telekinesis. Filming is about 2 months... and I leave this weekend"

Daniel smiled a bit. "Alien princess? Well you've got the princess part down." He smirked at his own joke. "And I assume I'm going to be holding it down here while you're gone?" He asked even though he knew the answer.

Lucas smiled at Tessa and how engaged she was in the show.

Tessa turned to face him "who do you think his partner is? My moneys on the wife. Trying to protect her man."

Lucas stammered for a second. "This would be a good time to use getting lost in your eyes as an excuse, wouldn't it?" He chuckled.

Lucas simply laughed and went back to the way he was previously sitting, with his arm around Tessa.
