Pietro couldn't return the smile, but he could manage to squeeze her hand as he looked at her, blue eyes filed with despair.

"this way," the pilot spoke, gesturing to a door that would obviously lead into whatever this flying thing was. Pietro dipped his head obediently at the man's fluent Russian, following as he and the Suit walked off, Natalia walking next to Lidij.

Lidija returned the squeeze, her green eyes swimming as they met his briefly. She took a deep breath and looked around at the helipad.

Despite her fear and sorrow, this place was so different from anyway she'd been before that Lidija couldn't help but stare, wide-eyed, as they descended into a large room.

Pietro somehow tripped on the way inside from the helipad, and managed to catch himself, but not the small black box in his fingers, which went skittering across the tarmac towards his sister.

She bent to pick up and slowly handed it back to her brother.
