Daryl smiled as he watched. He wasn't sure if he was allowed backstage. He stayed in his seat and would wait until the end.

The concert continued on smoothly and McKinley had the crowd cheering and screaming and singing along with his songs.

As the last song came to an end, McKinley took off the wide brimmed hat he was wearing and threw it like a frisbee, watching it fly through the crowd and land in some girl's hand. "Goodnight Chicago!" he yelled and the lights went out.

McKinley was stopped the security guard from earlier who handed him Emilie's card. McKinley crumpled it up and threw it out before grabbing a bottle of water.

Daryl walked backstage and saw the security guard. He told him who he was. "Daryl Henderson, head of the Nike Chicago branch and personal friend of McKinley Armstrong."

McKinley turned. "Mr. Henderson!" McKinley said and walked over. "It's alright, Carl. He's with me." Carl stepped aside and McKinley smiled. "How did you like the show?"

"I really liked it. I may talk with your record label and see if we can work out a deal about sponsoring them or only your band. Regardless, I'm on your side, and that's all you need." Daryl smiled and paused. Then he spoke again. "And please, call me Daryl."

Emilie stood outside the Vip room of Mckinleys show waiting for him to come out. A few fans of his also recognized her and she took a few pictures and signed some autographs

McKinley sent a look to his bodyguard who stepped in. "Ma'am, if you could please remove your hand from Mr. Armstrong." he said as McKinley took his arm away from her.

"I'm sorry ma'am but tonight is different." the bodyguard said and ushered McKinley into his limo. The two climbed in and the limo took off.

The limo pulled up to McKinley's hotel and he got out, immediately spotted by fans, he smiled as they screamed and yelled. He signed as much as he could before he was ushered inside.
