Emilie nodded. Part of her felt undesirable. But the other part understood he wanted to wait. She lied down her head in his lap "I'm sorry. Are you mad at me?"

When Dawn woke up again she was in a different place. Same type of setting, storage unit hand cuffed to a pole, only this time she was able to get to a cellphone that some one left on the table next to her. She reaches with her bare foot and types in Max's number and sent him a text. She finished sending it just as her captors walk into the room, and had just enough time to hit send and kick the phone behind her.

Dawn still didn't have a clue what these guys wanted her for. Ransom? A bribe? She could only make out a few words, like, 'Test', 'tomorrow' , 'Powers', and...Dawns eyes widened. No. It couldn't have been. How would they have known? She could have sworn she heard them say, 'Greek Gods.' She was going to blame it on what ever drug it was they gave her, but she heard it again. 'Greek Gods' and 'Destruction'. She now really hoped that Max got her message, and would get to her in time.

When Dawn woke up the next morning she was in a different place. She was in some sort of lab strapped down to a table, with some kind of drug being sent into her body. She no longer had the cloth over her mouth but she was too weak to really talk. She then found out what was going on. Some of the people from the press found out that she could Charmspeak and was a demigod. Their plan was to see if they could extract her godly DNA and use her powers. They also said that there were others in other places doing the same thing. Looking for demigods, and making them mortal. Dawn couldn't believe what she was hearing. How did they even know about demigods? They cover her mouth with the cloth again and start the process. She lets out a muffled scream of pain wishing she was back home.

At this point Dawn was crying pleading for them to stop. They didn't. Instead they amped up the drug so it knocked her out.
