Lucas drove back to Tessa's house and went to the door to get her stuff. Evidently, the door was left unlocked when she was kidnapped.

Lucas grabbed the teddy bear and the blanket Tesa asked for and put it in the backseat of his car and he drove back to the hospital.

Lucas got back to Tessa's room with the blanket and teddy bear. He nuzzled the teddy bear beside her and draped the blanket over her.

Tessa kissed him back and smiled "if you want to go home or go to my place and sleep you can. You don't have to stay here. I know that chair won't be comfy ..." She didn't want him to leave but she wanted him to get decent sleep
